1. **Payments:**
– Payments are processed securely through our payment processor, and we do not store any client payment details for enhanced security.
2. **Withdrawal Requests:**
– Utilize the “Withdraw” option in your backend to request fund transfers. Ensure the accuracy of your banking details in the designated section, as we cannot be held responsible for incorrect payments due to inaccurate information.
3. **Fund Management:**
– All funds are initially received and held by the payment processor. We transfer funds to our bank account and disburse them to you upon your withdrawal request.
4. **Multi-Product Transactions:**
– Clients can purchase multiple products from various vendors in a single transaction. Each vendor receives an email with order details specific to their products as soon as the client payment is received. Payment details and history are accessible in your back office.
5. **Vendor Responsibilities:**
– It is your obligation to promptly contact the client, fulfill orders, and provide excellent service. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in the removal of the vendor from our platform.
6. **Vendor Store Packages:**
– Choose from various vendor store packages based on the number of products you wish to sell. Select and subscribe to the appropriate package when setting up your store.
7. **Transaction Fees:**
– Due to bank transfer fees and payment processor charges, a fixed 10% transaction fee is applied to the value of each sale. Please factor this into your product costing.
8. **VAT Considerations:**
– If you are registered for VAT, include it in your final product price. The client will see the VAT amount separately at checkout.
9. **Product Listings and Descriptions:**
– Ensure that your product listings are accurate and comprehensive. Provide clear and truthful descriptions, including product specifications, dimensions, and any relevant information to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
10. **Quality Assurance:**
– Guarantee the quality of your products and adhere to industry standards. Any deviations should be clearly communicated to customers in the product description.
11. **Returns and Refunds:**
– Clearly outline your return and refund policies. In the event of product returns, handle the process promptly and professionally, abiding by the stipulated policies.
12. **Intellectual Property:**
– As a vendor, you are responsible for ensuring that your products do not infringe on any intellectual property rights. Any claims arising from such infringement will be your sole responsibility.
13. **Legal Compliance:**
– Ensure that your products and business practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any legal issues arising from non-compliance will be addressed by you as the vendor.
14. **Customer Communication:**
– Maintain clear and responsive communication with customers. Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner to uphold the reputation of both your store and the platform.
15. **Termination of Vendor Agreement:**
– Shopaway reserves the right to terminate the vendor agreement at its discretion, with or without cause. Termination may result from failure to adhere to these terms and conditions, substandard products, or any other violation of our policies.
16. **Indemnification:**
– Vendors agree to indemnify and hold Shopaway harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from the sale of their products, services, or any violation of these terms and conditions.
17. **Limitation of Liability:**
– Shopaway shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform or any products sold on it.
18. **Modification of Terms:**
– Shopaway reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
